The Kiwi girls did a great job of turning around the disappointment of a loss in the semi to dominate all over the pitch against Great Britain for a 3 : 6 win to secure the bronze medal. The NZ U21 men demonstrated fantastic form in another NZL v. FRA semi-final. The bronze medal match against Germany later in the day also went to the wire with a one all scoreline at full time. The Kiwi U21s again demonstrated exciting and skillful polo to match the game hardened Germans but conceded the win in sudden death.

Today the senior women faced the 2010 World Champions Great Britain in the semi-final. The NZ ladies played a fantastic team game against the reigning world champs but  conceded the game 4 : 3.
